WOVEN: GLOBAL SISTERHOOD

Different paths. Stronger together.

Empowering Women | Inspiring Generations| Celebrating Excellence

Editorial Thesis

The stories exist. The spotlight doesn't.

Cabo Verde's diaspora is one of the world's most remarkable — more of its people live abroad than at home. Among them are women builders, artists, entrepreneurs and advocates reshaping communities on four continents.

Yet their work is too often documented only in specialist channels — Afrobarometer surveys, Inforpress wire reports, community radio and local archives — rather than the mainstream wire services that shape global attention.

Woven exists to carry these stories further, with the care and polish they deserve.
